Recently I've had this idea about some sort of Pulsar feeding off an alien world - a concept of which I found pretty interesting. After refining the idea, I sketched several designs, started modeling, developed textures, baked them, and assembled everything in Unreal.
Making this scene was fun, especially with the pulsating effect in the cinematic. Additionally, I created a blueprint for the pulsar in Unreal, making it give the same effect in-game as in the cinematic. (Pulsing sounds real nice with headphones)
